Cheshire West & Wirral Crossroads is a registered charity limited by guarantee. We are also registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider. We aim to relieve stress in families or in persons responsible for the care of a person or persons with care needs. Our services aim to supplement and complement - not to replace - existing statutory services, and to work closely with them. We aim to provide a flexible and adaptable service that meets the needs of individual carers and those they care for. We cover the whole range of age and disability, ranging from children with autism to older people with dementia. Our staff also gives the all-important emotional support to carers. Our highly trained care staff can take over your caring responsibilities, so that you can have a break. Our staff can visit daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. This break can be essential to allow the carer to ‘re-charge their batteries’, enabling them to continue their caring role. By using our services, the carers have time to themselves - to go out, catch up with friends and family, keep up with hobbies and pastimes that they enjoy or to work, the carer is free to do whatever they like.
